Spicy Sausage and Feta Cheese Pizza

INGREDIENTS:
3 Elmira Turkey Sausages
  • 1 10 ounce fully baked pizza crust
  • 1¼ (300ml) cups tomato sauce
  • 1¼ (300ml) cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup (125ml) thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup (250mk) crumbled feta cheese
  • ¼ cup (50ml) black olives halved
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced

DIRECTIONS:
Position rack in center of oven and preheat to 425. Sauté Turkey Sausage in large skillet over medium-high heat until just cooked through, slice into ¼ inch pieces and set aside.

Place pizza crust on rimless baking sheet, leaving a ¾ inch border. Spread 1 cup tomato sauce over crust. Top with mozzarella cheese, ¼ cup of basil, sausage, feta cheese, olives, and bell pepper. Drizzle remaining ¼ cup sauce over and bake until crust is crisp and toppings are heated through, about 13 minutes.

Sprinkle with remaining basil before serving.

Makes 6 servings.
